The questions a facilities manager actually asks.
Answered the way we would answer them on the phone, including the one about price.
What equipment do you cover?
Rooftop units, commercial cooling and heating equipment, their controls, and the ductwork and ventilation that move air through the building. Commercial HVAC service at RF Specialist also covers diagnostics, inspections, repair, and installation on the same equipment.
What does a maintenance program cover?
Scheduled maintenance for commercial HVAC systems to inspect filters, coils, electrical connections, and safety controls. Programs run 2 to 4 scheduled visits per year, matched to the client and the site rather than to a fixed calendar.
Why plan the work instead of waiting for a failure?
Planned work happens on a date you chose, around the hours your building is open. A failure happens on its own schedule, usually on the hottest afternoon of the week, and it takes the room, the kitchen, or the floor with it.
What does it cost?
It is quoted, not listed — but the model is simple: programs are priced per unit, per year, and a site survey sets the final number. Unit count, equipment type, roof access, operating hours, and the type of business change the work enough that a single published price would be wrong for most buildings. Tell us what you have and we price the program against it.
What do you need from us to quote?
The property type, how many units are on the building and roughly what they are, where they sit and how a technician reaches them safely, and any service history you already hold. An educated guess is enough to start.
